To ensure yourself a good match and a high chance of survival and advancement through the game stages, in which the game map will narrow, you need to follow several rules.
Drop zone
You need to always think through and monitor the situation to understand the best landing point for your match.
Firstly, never land on the edge of the map – you will always be visible to other players while moving towards the center of the map, and if the playing area begins to narrow in the other direction, then you will find yourself in an unpleasant situation and can easily die not even in battle, but simply on the run, not noticing the enemy in ambush.
Secondly, when you decide on the best moment to land, make sure that a large number of other players are not landing on it, because jumping into an area where there will be a lot of competition, although dynamic and training for shooting and quick collection of resources, is often a guaranteed death, which does not help your boosting in Warzone 2.
Just choose a small hangar, or a couple of houses on the map, and jump out so that you spend the minimum amount of time in the open area.
Your first task is to get your weapon at your disposal and only then move forward.
Ideally, you need a machine gun or assault rifle, a bulletproof vest and a helmet, a supply of ammunition and grenades with medicines and an armor module, and when the playing area begins to narrow, then go to its radius, take a position there and continue to look for enemies that you can destroy.
Goals for the match
Your main task is to win the match and take first place, remaining the last survivor on the game map.
Although Warzone’s gaming rating is not considered that way, in order to constantly progress, you don’t have to win the match, but be in good standing.
This means that your survival rate over time on the map should be stable, and the number of kills should not be zero. From all types of statistics, a single result is collected, which willdetermine what happens to your rank in Call of Duty Warzone 2 – it will remain the same, will be raised, or lowered.
The system just wants to see that you are not just hiding and thereby surviving on the map for a long time, but that you are fully participating in the match and with your personal shooting skills and choosing shelters you prove that you understand the game well in order to challenge stronger opponents.
If you often die without achieving results, then the system understands that this level is too difficult for you and places you at a lower rank so that you can learn more.
Weapon
When you first get your bearings, grab literally any weapon that comes to your hand – you will still have time to sort it out in the future, but at the very beginning you must be ready to repel the attack of enemies, so be it a pistol, shotgun, machine gun, or assault rifle – take everything.
Of course, you need to get rid of the pistol and shotgun first – these are too situational weapons that cannot solve all the player’s tasks, especially at long distances.
The assault rifle is a more suitable weapon with fast shooting, but not strong enough damage to be considered the main one. You can of course use it to boost Warzone’s CoD rank, but it’s better to aim for assault weapons.
Assault weapons are weapons at the level of AK, Scar and other popular types of small arms that you have encountered before in many other games.
This is a universal and powerful weapon that causes stable damage at any distance, but requires a different approach to combat – for long-range shooting, single rounds, for medium distance – in bursts, or three rounds each, and for close combat – automatic shooting.
A sniper weapon also wouldn’t hurt, as it will greatly help destroy enemies in long-range combat, without even letting them get close to you, but you should always have a quick-firing weapon in case the enemy manages to get close to you. Even a pistol will do, but the most optimal combination for all types of combat would be an assault and sniper rifle with a full set of accessories.
If possible, your main weapon needs accessories that will help you in combat – a scope for better visibility, but not too powerful, otherwise your visibility at close ranges will be poor.
The silencer will help hide the place of your shooting from enemies and will add chances to get out of the battle undetected by either the target or other players who may be nearby.
Next, various tools will help you to improve accuracy, such as a stabilization knob and an increased to gun for a long fight.
Aids
To survive in the arenas of Warzone 2, you need medicine and armor modules – the fact is that you will very rarely leave the battle without taking damage at all, and if you do not carry first aid kits with you, then you simply will not survive the next battle.
Just collect all available first aid kits and armor modules, especially since they can be used directly in battle, and then you will have a greater advantage and chance of survival compared to your opponent.
Grenades
Sometimes the mechanics of using fragmentation and stun grenades can help knock enemies out of cover and bring chaos to the battlefield to return the initiative to your hands.
